Following an unveil teaser last month, the first gameplay footage of the upcoming TT Isle of Man Ride on the Edge 3 has been released.
The official game of the TT Isle of Man motorcycle racing event is the first in the gaming series to launch since 2020 and is being developed by Italian outfit Nacon Studio Milan, formerly RaceWard Studio, using the KT Engine.
The latest trailer showcases a mix of in-engine footage, gameplay and a dramatic voiceover, charting the most challenging elements of the 37.730-mile circuit.
Following the previous two games, and RaceWard-created RiMS Racing, be in no doubt that Ride on the Edge 3 will be an uncompromising simulator.
What we can see in the latest footage is Davey Todd’s Milenco by Padgett’s Motorcycles Honda CBR1000RR‑R from the 2022 running of the storied event, spark particle effects reminiscent of RiMS and the Monster-Energy sponsored Douglas start line.
The game will have a semi-open-world exploring mode, dubbed ‘Open Roads’, plus 31 additional circuits outside of the Manx venue, with close 40 Superbike and Supersport motorbikes and riders. However, at this time, these remain under wraps.
TT Isle of Man – Ride on the Edge 3 is slated for release in May 2023 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.
