Ferrari’s latest hybrid supercar, the 296 GTB, is now available in-game for Rocket League players.

This latest Prancing Horse follows a long line of real-world vehicles jumping into the supersonic acrobatic car football game, such as the Ford Bronco, Nissan Z and Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4.

The new model uses the Dominus Hitbox and will be sold as part of a bundle that includes the car and:

  • Ferrari 296 GTB Engine Audio
  • Ferrari 296 GTB Wheels
  • Ferrari Antenna
  • Assetto Fiorano Decal

The Ferrari 296 GTB Bundle will cost 2000 Credits from Rocket League’s Item Shop. For reference, it costs £3.75/$4.99 for 500 credits, £7.50/$9.99 for 1,100 credits, £18.75/$24.99 for 3,000 credits, or £37.50/$49.99 for 6,500 credits.

It’s available from today (31st August) until 6th September 2022. A Ferrari Player Banner will also be available for free during the same period. This is across all platforms, PC, PlayStation, Switch and Xbox.

Curiously, the car made its gaming debut in Gran Turismo 7 Fortnite last year and has yet to be seen in a more focused driving title. Sim fans relax, however, as the GT3 version will be making its way to Assetto Corsa Competizione next year.
