It includes the venerated CSL DD, a 5Nm direct drive wheel base that set the standard for size, weight and feedback fidelity when launched in 2021.

Alongside that comes the CSL steering wheel P1 V2, with a 300mm rim and rev counter read-out at the top. Then, for throttle and brakes, there is the CSL Pedals set.

It’s worth noting that the CSL DD is for PC and Xbox console use only, unlike the Gran Turismo DD Pro which will also work on PlayStation. An 8Nm Boost Kit to increase the torque output of the base is available as an optional extra, as is a Load Cell Kit to enhance the brake pedal experience. The DD can also be desk-mounted with an additional adapter.

As an entry-level set, this was priced at $/€499.95 in February, but now it’s a lowly $/€399.95 – a staggering $/€100 reduction.

Fanatec Ready2Race Bundle

The new price follows Moza Racing offering a comparative set for $529. The race for affordable direct drive sim racing equipment is well and truly on. Orders are now open for the Ready2Race grouping via Fanatec directly.
