Fanatec and Nissan working on licensed sim racing steering wheels

• A new Fanatec wheel, designed in partnership with Nissan, is in development
• Licensing deal announced, product details to follow in 2026

Fanatec and Nissan have announced a new partnership to co-develop a sim racing steering wheel.

While details on product specifics remain light, the two companies have joined forces to create a product “inspired by the brand’s performance driving heritage.”

“The steering wheel is being developed with a strong focus on craftsmanship, ergonomic precision, and visual authenticity to ensure sim racers feel fully connected to the road and immersed in the experience,” said the German gaming equipment manufacturer.

Fanatec, now part of the Corsair group, has a long history of licensed sim racing equipment, including a McLaren GT3 wheel, a BMW M4 GT3 wheel that is used in both virtual and real worlds and the recent Porsche Vision Gran Turismo unit.
