As part of the series’ 20th anniversary celebrations, the fabled Fujimi Kaido circuit is finally returning to Forza Motorsport.
Last seen in Forza Motorsport 4, the fictional 10.24-mile course is set in Japan’s Fujimi town. It’s a tight and technical circuit, featuring 144 turns and steep elevation changes peaking at 2,711 feet.
Having appeared in the first original Xbox game in 2005, Fujimi Kaido is considered one of Forza Motorsport’s most iconic tracks, yet it’s been absent for nearly 15 years. That’s set to change soon, with Forza Motorsport’s upcoming May update bringing back the fan-favourite Japanese circuit.
Fujimi Kaido is said to be Turn 10’s “biggest track project ever.” Recreated for Forza Motorsport, the circuit will be available in standard and reverse layouts.
The announcement comes after Turn 10 teased the return of a “fan-favourite” circuit last month.
Alongside Fujimi Kaido’s return, Forza Motorsport’s May update will include “highly requested cars” in addition to unlockable driver suits, special events and new themed Rivals challenges to celebrate the franchise’s 20th anniversary in May.
A release date has yet to be announced, but Turn 10 will announce more details soon.
