F1 24 Season 4 adds Oscar Piastri Pro Challenge and McLaren Chrome 2.0 livery

Following a surprise graphics update on all platforms, F1 24 Season 4 starts today (13th November), bringing with it a host of new challenges to conquer and in-game rewards to win for a limited time.

Between 13^th November and 6^th January, Season 4, titled ‘Champions Legacy’, will add a new Pro Challenge, Challenge Career and Race Scenarios to F1 24.

Win McLaren’s Google Chrome 2.0 livery in Oscar Piastri’s Pro Challenge

F1 24’s latest Pro Challenge sees you attempt to beat the fastest time set at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, by rising star Oscar Piastri, who has shown his potential after winning two races for McLaren in his second season this year.

Beating Piastri’s time will unlock McLaren’s special Google Chrome 2.0 livery seen at this year’s United States Grand Prix to use in-game.

You can find Oscar Piastri’s Pro Challenge in the F1 World mode and attempt to win the McLaren livery for a limited time between 13th November and 6th January.

Lewis Hamilton Challenge Career

After F1 24’s last Challenge Career featured Ayrton Senna, Season 4’s celebrates Lewis Hamilton’s 12-year stint at Mercedes before the seven-time champion switches to red Ferrari overalls next year.

Between 13^th November and 6^th January, the Lewis Hamilton Challenge Career will host events at circuits where the Mercedes driver secured some of his most famous victories.

Completing each event will unlock Lewis Hamilton-themed rewards including gloves, helmets, liveries, and double XP tokens:

• Episode #1 (Nov 13-22) – Bahrain, Austria, Japan
  • Reward: “End of an Era” Gloves
• Episode #2 (Nov 22-Dec 2) – China, Monaco, Canada
  • Reward: Double XP Token
• Episode #3 (Dec 2-11) – Spain, Great Britain, Hungary
  • Reward: “End of an Era” Helmet
• Episode #4 (Dec 11-20) – Belgium, Italy, Azerbaijan
  • Reward: Double XP Token
• Episode #5 (Dec 20-30) – Singapore, Texas
  • Reward: “End of an Era” Race Suit
• Episode #6 (Dec 30-Jan 6) – Brazil, Abu Dhabi
  • Reward: “End of an Era” Livery

Race Scenario rewards

Rounding off Season 4 is a series of Race Scenario challenges based on memorable moments from the 2021, 2022 and 2014 championships.

Live from 2^nd December until 6^th January, the first scenario event sees you take on the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix as either Max Verstappen or Lewis Hamilton, recreating their controversial clash that decided the 2021 championship title.

Finishing in the top 30 per cent of each leaderboard will earn 1,000 PitCoin points for each driver.

The next event commemorates Max Verstappen’s astonishing victory at the 2022 Belgian Grand Prix, where he demonstrated his skill by finishing first after starting in 14^th.

This 35 per cent distance race recreates Verstappen’s impressive victory, swapping the original car with the current 2024 Red Bull RB20. Your reward for winning this event is the ‘Number 1’ character pose. 

The final scenario takes you to Bahrain, where you’ll battle with George Russell as Lewis Hamilton. This is a homage to Hamilton’s duel with his former teammate Nico Rosberg at the 2014 Bahrain Grand Prix. Beating Rosberg and finishing in first place will unlock the ‘Hammer Time’ emote.

• 2021 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Race Scenario (2^nd December – 6^th January). Reward: 2,000 PitCoin points (1,000 for each driver).
• 2022 Belgian Grand Prix Race Scenario (10^th December – 6th January). Reward: Number 1 character pose.
• 2014 Bahrain Grand Prix Race Scenario (10^th December – 6^th January). Reward: Hammer Time emote.
