Podium Pass Series 4 is now live in the F1 2021 game, and for the next eight weeks offers up a fresh set of challenges, tiers and prized cosmetic rewards.
This time around, there is a string of content creator themed content inspired by aarava, Terroriser and Pieface aka Pieface23. While aarava is known for his racing game videos, Terroriser covers pop culture and all gaming genres, while Pieface is primarily focused on FIFA – but both have crossed paths with F1 2021, with Pieface notably taking part in the Virtual Grand Prix.
This follows Series 3 that featured designs by Daniel Ricciardo and George Russell.
Each personality has a car ‘legendary’ car livery, helmet, pair of gloves and suit to unlock through the 30 tiers, with the aarava car livery at Tier 1 and the Pieface car livery at Tier 30. All are on the free, non-VIP, level.
To unlock these items, alongside a suite of additional items such as a ‘well done Jeff’ radio call, you simply play the game, earn XP and level up. You can earn additional XP by completing the Podium Pass challenges.
There is an extra set of challenges and set of items to unlock should you purchase the VIP pass for 9,000 Pitcoin, the in-game currency. If you don’t have any Pitcoin, there’s an 11,000 Pitcoin bundle for £7.39/$8.49. If all that sounds confusing, don’t worry, we have a guide for that.
