SCS Software has announced that Euro Truck Simulator 2’s West Balkans DLC map pack will be released on the 19th of October.
The game’s latest map expansion has been brewing since June 2022 and is set to add the Italian city of Trieste to the base game for free, owing to its location as a gateway to the West Balkan region.
Also coming to the game as a free update, which we presume is arriving ahead of the 19th of October, are the revamped Italian cities of Bari and Ancona, all of which can be accessed now via a free-to-try open beta. Note: the Bari and Ancona refreshes are available only for owners of the Italia DLC map pack.
The West Balkans region is set to add varied landscapes to the sim, from the coastal tourist resorts of Croatia to the scenic hills of Albania, with plenty of new Euro Truck Simulator 2 industries on the way too, including a region-specific Bauxite rock terminal that feeds a light metals factory and aluminium foundry.
Euro Truck Simulator 2’s West Balkans DLC is available to Wishlist on Steam now ahead of its 19th of October release date, likely costing the same as the game’s other major map expansions – £14.99 / 17,99€ / $17.99.
