As previewed by the Studio 397 team several times over the last year (most recently in the November roadmap and yesterday’s build release notes), there’s now a marvellous new addition to the platform’s endurance car list and released just as Christmas is upon us!
Despite already being considered one of the top platforms for endurance racing with a ridiculously long list of cars types and manufacturers, today’s release cements rFactor 2 near the top of the list for those sportscar fans amongst you.
Although there are already many GTE cars and a LMP2 (in the form of the Oreca) within the simulation – this update marks the first time that a Daytona Prototype has been relaeased officially (we’re not counting 3rd party, workshop mods..)
You can purchase the cars separately if you wish but the endurance bundle on the steam store is your most efficient bet. Priced at a relatively reasonable £18.69 (GBP – local prices may vary), it offers good value compared to prices on iRacing for example but more expensive than other racing games. You find the bundle listed here.
