EA SPORTS F1 23 will be called EA SPORTS F1 23

Breaking news – what many suspected as being called EA SPORTS F1 23 will indeed be called EA SPORTS F1 23.

Apologies, I’m being facetious. I am very much looking forward to a brand new official Formula 1 driving game, and today (1st March 2023), we’ve heard our first information about such a title.

The recently rebranded social media profiles for the title, developed by the Electronic Arts-owned Codemasters Birmingham studio, announced the new name.

The generic car render and new logo were posted with the caption: “New season, fresh start”

I’m not going run wild with speculation here, preferring to await further details. Fingers crossed for some improvements over last season’s series entry.

F1 2021 was released in mid-July, F1 22 at the end of June, and both games were formally unveiled in April of the respective years.
