BRSCC iRacing FF1600 Festival Special Event set to celebrate junior formula

The one-off race for iRacing members is analogous to such occasions seen in motorsport, placing competitors in FF1600 cars at Brands Hatch Indy.

The British Racing and Sports Car Club, Motorsport UK Esports and iRacing have collaborated on a new Special Event for members to partake in – the 2023 BRSCC iRacing FF1600 Festival.

Reminiscent of the real-world festival event using junior single-seater racing cars, drivers with a Rookie 4.0 and up licence can take part in four time slots across 17th-18th November 2023.

Want to replicate this UK FF1600 Esports Cup action? You can in the upcoming iRacing Special Event.

Of course, everyone will be in identical 1.6-litre Ray FF1600 cars, much like the current Motorsport UK Esports-backed UK FF1600 Esports Cup – which you can watch live as part of the British F4 Esports championship undercard.

Much like the similar event held outside of iRacing, Brands Hatch Indy will be the virtual venue with a warmup, eight-minute qualifying session, two heat races, a last-chance qualifier and a 30-driver 20-lap final race.

Will you be taking part? Let us know via social media and don’t forget, to get in the mood, the next round of the UK FF1600 Esports Cup will be live to watch on 25th October.
