Following separate teasers for new rally content and a potential drift area, BeamNG is back at it with a new, or updated, car teaser.
Jared Samuelson, the simulation’s Vehicle Team Lead and known Subaru-phile, is seen next to a pile of interior door cards in the latest social media clip.
He then briefly shows his laptop screen, which features a work-in-progress shot of a car’s interior, replete with jazzy blue material – and to us, and members of the BeamNG community, it looks like the Hirochi Sunburst, hinting at a possible remaster.
The platform does have a habit of going back to some of its older cars, refreshing their build with higher resolution textures and adding new variations.
A compact saloon (first added over a decade ago), it offers multiple configurations presently, including all-wheel-drive, rally or track spec and turbocharged engines.
It is similar, if not officially, reminiscent of a Subaru Impreza. Sounds perfect for some enhanced rally action, we say…
Timing for the next BeamNg.drive game update is not yet known, but as the teaser campaign is well underway, we expect confirmation imminently.
