BeamNG.drive’s v0.37 update is out now, adding a limousine and several hilarious props, including a trampoline, spike strips and a giant Zorb.

The team behind BeamNG.drive has dropped a new update today (15th September 2025), adding a brand new car and several typically off-the-wall props to the sandbox crash-em-up.

Beam has flitted between genres in recent years. For a while, players were treated to mainly off-road-themed updates, adding the likes of dune buggies, rock crawlers and Trophy Trucks, as well as the Baja-themed Johnson Valley environment, but recently the game’s rally mode has taken centre stage.

This time around, however, rally mode takes a back seat to allow for more zany additions, like a trampoline. Yes.

Grand Marshal Limousine

It’s giving Gordon Gecko vibes

The headline feature of v0.37 is this stretch Grand Marshal limo vehicle, giving Beam players a chance to emulate the epic taxi race from Top Gear.

Although you can’t tear the limo in two in true Top Gear style (believe me, I’ve tried), there’s nothing more amusing than trying to control it through the narrow streets of the Italy map. T-Cut is most definitely required.

Its interior has also been faithfully recreated, and it exudes luxury thanks to its chic leather seats, minibar and TV screen. It’s all very ’80s.

In other vehicle news, the Ibishu Miramar gets a new selection of powerplants and textures, completely revamping the aesthetics of its engine bay. It also gets a new turbo kit for some extra, fluttery goodness.

Quick-Start Experiences

A new tile has been added to Beam’s main menu, helping players jump straight into the game’s diverse range of activities.

Quick-Start Experiences provide curated scenarios – using some of v0.37’s new content, too – that show Beam off in the best possible light. For new players, they’re a must-try, featuring various challenges ranging from crawl trails to the game’s more destructive elements.

Brake glow

Disc brakes will now glow when they get warm. The effect is more prominent at night-time, adding a touch more realism to the game.

Speaking of realism…

Coming to an episode of Police Interceptors soon

There are some excellent new props to sample too, including the police interceptor’s favourite: the spike strip. Once deployed, the spike strip gradually deflates the tyres (a new game mechanic for v0.37) of a fleeing criminal’s car, bringing a pursuit to a safe and early conclusion.

We suggest deploying it in front of your friends on a drag strip for maximum hilarity, however.

I like that this exists

A trampoline has also been added.

Cars, trampolines, you know, there’s that whole connection there…

The bin from the Street Cleaner Pigeon is now also available as a standalone item, while the new pressure ball essentially turns your car into a giant hamster (or a victim of Rover, from The Prisoner).
