- Automobilsita 2’s retro racing roster to expand
- Track variants and cars from 2005 endurance racing to be released as DLC later in October
- AI, HUD and multiplayer changes also expected
The roster of classic content for Automobilista 2 is set to expand once more when two 2005-themed DLC packs are released later this month.
A development blog post on developer Reiza Studios’ forum has unveiled several new-to-the-game cars, and hinted cryptically at some era-specific track versions.

While not explicitly confirmed, we expect this to be one paid pack for the tracks and another for the cars. Studio Head and Project Manager Renato Simioni states that “three DLC packages which will extend the AMS2 world into one of the most memorable eras for Endurance Motorsports”
With one of them being the previously announced Lamborghini Dream Pack Part 2, it indicates two for the 2005-season content.

2005-era track versions
Of the venues, there isn’t an official list just yet, but the wording of the announcement talks of the Sebring 12-hour, Petit Le Mans (Road Atlanta), the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the 24 Hours of Spa. All four venues are available for the title presently, so affirming 2025-spec versions as future additions.
“You will be able to experience these events in AMS2 with the tracks exactly as they were 20 years ago, featuring most of their participants,” says Simioni.
