- Running Forza Horizon 6 at the Extreme RT graphical preset won’t require an RTX 5090
- Minimum and recommended specs require only 16 GB RAM and Intel Arc A580 CPU
More details on Forza Horizon 6’s system requirements emerged today (25th March, 2026), with Playground Games’ open-world driving title set to take advantage of the PC’s extra graphical horsepower.
Beyond minimum and recommended, the developer has outlined the equipment you’ll need to hit ‘Extreme’ and ‘Extreme RT’ specs, with the latter taking full advantage of hardware-intensive light rendering tech, ray tracing. Thankfully, this won’t require an RTX 5090.
The end goal, which Playground suggests was borne of eschewing compatibility with the previous generation of Xbox consoles, is increasingly photorealistic graphics that showcase the game’s diverse Japanese setting in 4K detail.
As ever, the proof of this Forza-favoured pudding will be in the eating.
You can find out if this succulent Japanese meal will be delicious on 19th May 2026, as Forza Horizon 6 releases on PC and Xbox Series X|S. A PlayStation 5 release is due later this year.
