So, the big news is out! Assetto Corsa EVO’s Steam landing page has dropped today (27 June 2024) and with it comes an idea of the game’s system requirements.

From the latest screenshots, Kunos Simulazioni’s latest driving game looks to be an absolute graphical masterpiece, featuring dynamic weather, day-to-night transitions and sumptuously detailed car models. However, the minimum graphics card requirement is surprisingly either an Nvidia GTX 1070 or an AMD 1500X.

For recommended specs, though, Kunos advises using either an Nvidia RTX 2070 or AMD Radeon RX 5600, meaning thousands of Assetto Corsa players may need to upgrade soon, especially if they plan to use the game’s VR mode.

Be warned: the game also requires a large chunk of hard drive space – over 100GB in fact – which may not be a huge issue for AC players who already have terabytes’ worth of mods installed. A solid-state hard drive (SSD) will be required, regardless.

Assetto Corsa Evo minimum specs:

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • Processor: Intel I5 8700k / AMD 1500X
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: GTX 1070, RX 580
