With Assetto Corsa EVO’s highly anticipated early access release just one day away, the game’s Steam page has seemingly confirmed the exact release time.

Eight months after its announcement, Assetto Corsa EVO is nearly here, with the first Early Access build arriving tomorrow (16th January.)

While the Early Access release date has been known for a while, Assetto Corsa EVO’s Steam page has seemingly confirmed exactly when we can start playing the next chapter in Kunos Simulazioni’s revered sim racing series.

According to the Steam page, Assetto Corsa EVO’s Early Access release will unlock at 2pm GMT/UTC/3pm CET/9am ET/6am PT on 16th January. That’s only around one day and two hours away at the time of writing.

Kunos has yet to confirm this, but we will update this article if an official release time is announced.

When it launches, the first Early Access build will include 20 cars and five circuits, with VR and triple-screen support from day one. In terms of game modes, the initial Early Access release will feature single-player practice and quick races, along with a new ‘Driving Academy’ for learning track layouts.

Online multiplayer is expected to come in the “second or third” Early Access build according to Kunos Simulazioni’s Co-Founder and Executive Manager, Marco Massarutto.

Meanwhile, Assetto Corsa EVO’s much-publicised open-world set in the Eifel region surrounding the Nurburgring is slated to arrive in the summer, with the area progressively expanding to 1,600 square kilometres in later builds.

One crucial detail we still don’t know, however, is the price. Kunos has not yet confirmed how much Assetto Corsa EVO will cost, but Massarutto has hinted it will be “aggressive” in a “good way.”
