Assetto Corsa EVO made its public debut at last year’s SimRacing Expo, allowing fans to test drive the follow-up to Competizione months before its Early Access release. This year, Kunos Simulazioni’s new racing simulation returns with a first look at the upcoming 0.4 update.
Teased at the end of the 0.3 update announcement trailer, Assetto Corsa EVO’s next major update is set to add the Ferrari F40 Competizione to the roster, presumably alongside other unannounced cars that will hopefully be confirmed at the SimRacing Expo.
Notably, update 0.4 will also introduce the Nürburgring Nordschleife to Assetto Corsa EVO, though it won’t be accessible in free roam. Initially planned for a summer release, the much-touted free roam mode, which lets you explore the Nordschleife’s surrounding roads, will arrive in a later update.

0.4 is also expected to bring with it a form of ranked multiplayer mode; however, aside from this, the Ferrari and the German track, nothing else is currently known about Assetto Corsa EVO’s next update. We’ll hopefully find out more at the SimRacing Expo this month.
This year’s SimRacing Expo will take place from 17th to 19th October 2025 at Messe Dortmund, Germany. With several world premieres of sim racing games and equipment, it’s set to be the biggest and best yet.
