For those who have ventured into the Asetek family of racing products as of recent, and might have wondered if there existed a way to change the stiffness on your Invicta, Forte or La Prima pedals, there’s a new product on the market that will allow you to adjust just that.

Asetek Sim Sports introduced a new Elastomer Kit on Tuesday (28th February) and it will allow users to change the stiffness on any of their T.H.O.R.P. or M.L.C.P.C. powered pedal sets, to either be harder or softer in feeling.

The kit comes included with five different elastomers, and the pieces are interchangeable as much as you’d like. Some drivers might like a different feel on certain tracks or even certain simulations, so these rubber spacers are perfect for those who like to constantly change it up.

In an in-depth video released by Asetek on Tuesday (28th February) explains a bit more about each color coded piece in the kit.

The middle trio already correlates to what comes included with a set of Asetek pedals, but the light green and dark red options are the super soft and super hard options people have clamored for, to get a stiffer or more playable simulated feel in the brakes.

Asetek Sim Sports CEO André Eriksen goes over even more than anyone would have imaged for the five little rubber pedal spacers, explaining their function from a real-world racing perspective throughout the video.

André provides a ton of knowledge into the science of the pieces, how to install the elastomers, and a bunch of numbers and data graphs to explain what each piece is really doing when you press down on that brake pedal. Definitely be sure to check out that video for some Braking 101.

The kit will ship for €42.01 / $49.99 and is currently available in the Global Store. Those buying in the North America store will have to wait for it to ship in April.
