SCS Software has today (12th September 2023) announced that Arkansas is coming to American Truck Simulator.
The Southern state borders six others; including Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Tennessee, Mississippi and Missouri, and features mountainous areas in the north (part of the US’ Interior Highlands) and vast forests to the South.
Its capital city, Little Rock, has a population of just over 200,000 people and is a cultural and economic centre for the state. The Arkansas River runs through the city too, providing numerous opportunities for outdoor activities and attracting tourists.
Arkansas is home to 40 State Parks and three National Forests, with the state’s extensive marshlands teased by SCS in previous social posts, guaranteeing American Truck Simulator players will get to travel through verdant woodlands, boggy bayous and urban conurbations when the DLC releases at some point in the future.
American Truck Simulator’s Arkansas DLC map pack is available to Wishlist on Steam now, with a release date yet to be announced.
