American Truck Simulator’s next stop on the US map is Missouri, and the DLC is out later today.
The US government acquired Missouri from France in 1803 as part of the Lousiana Purchase agreement, which not only included the ‘The Show-Me State’ but also all or parts of Nebraska, Arkansas, Kansas, Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Colorado, Montana, Iowa and Oklahoma, as well as small areas of Canada.
So, a fair old proportion of the country, then.
The DLC will add 12 cities to the game, including St. Louis, home of the famous Gateway Arch and not far from IndyCar’s World Wide Technology Raceway in neighbouring Illinois.
Kansas City also makes the cut in ATS’s latest release, with virtual truckers able to drive across the impressive Bagnell Dam and take in the views at the Lake of the Ozarks and the Ozark Mountains (keep an eye out for Marty Byrde while you’re there).
Special Transport DLC Update
Three new Special Transport routes will arrive in ATS alongside the Missouri update, including routes from Kansas City to Rolla, Cape Girardeau to Springfield and St. Louis to Kirksville.
As always, this only applies to owners of the Special Transport DLC.

Heavy Cargo DLC Update
Likewise, those who have the Heavy Cargo DLC can look forward to three new humungous cargo types when the Missouri DLC launches, with mining-focused Mobile Screeners, Mobile Crushers and Mobile Stackers added to its roster.

Missouri Mighty Haul Bundle
The Missouri Might Haul Bundle is a special discounted offer that includes the Missouri DLC, the Heavy Cargo DLC and the Special Transport DLC, with the Classic Stripes Paint Jobs Pack as an added bonus.
If players already own any part of the bundle, they will only have to pay for the other discounted items.
Cruising Missouri event
To celebrate the launch of the Missouri DLC, developer SCS Software has launched its Cruising Missouri event, offering rewards for taking part in in-game challenges.
By driving a combined 125 million in-game miles while delivering cargo in Missouri, players can earn the Striking Mule and Show-Me Pillow cabin ornaments. For delivering to each of Missouri’s 12 cities on jobs of 100 miles or more, players can also individually earn the donkey-themed Beast of Burden ATS truck paint job.
Also, by completing a delivery to or from the city of Columbia via the External Contracts or External Market menus, players will be gifted a froggy Tom Hopper cabin plushie.
