Alongside the headline-grabbing 2005 Endurance DLC packs – with three 20-year-old circuit layouts and 11 period-matching cars – comes a V1.6.8.5 update for Automobilista 2.
This promises several AI-rival performance changes, alongside a spate of smaller tweaks and the visual-enhancing Temporal Anti-Aliasing.
TAA should help smooth some jagged edges and will be listed in the graphics options.
AI performance, according to the developer Reiza Studios, should benefit from more lifelike behaviour in braking zones and authentic behaviour accelerating out of a corner.
In terms of racecraft – jostling for position – there should be “reduced twitchness” according to their creators, with smoother movements. Aggression level options have been adjusted once more.

These improvements should also work in multiplayer lobbies and not just offline play.
