Lamborghini and current Zandvoort hit RaceRoom, as new content released

The DTM 2024 Car Pack is now available, alongside an all-new version of Zandvoort plus an updated Oschersleben.

Lamborghini and current Zandvoort hit RaceRoom, as new content released

After a momentary delay due to licencing technicalities, the free-to-enter simulator platform RaceRoom – Racing Experience has released its DTM 2024 Car Pack.

The premium downloadable content follows in a long line of official German racing content created by KW Studios.

Earlier this year, it released three tracks and two cars from the 1995 DTM season – which are spectacular – and now it’s the turn of the contemporary series.

In the real world, it now runs to GT3 regulations, and thus the pack includes seven of the popular racing machines plus the 2024-season livery designs. Of the septet, two are completely new to the platform.

The McLaren 720S EVO is an updated version of the existing model, while the Lamborghini Huracán EVO II witnesses a landmark deal as it is the first-ever Raging Bull available for the game.

The pack is now available, 14th November 2024, for $20.99.

Each 2024-spec DTM car and livery design are also available individually. To that end, all cars are $6.29, apart from the McLaren and Lamborghini at $7.34. Each livery is priced at $0.30.

All-new Zandvoort recreation

Alongside the DTM set, comes a new track in the form of the contemporary Zandvoort layout.

The Dutch coastline venue was significantly updated in 2020, with stepper banking at Hugenholzbocht and Arie Luyendyk Bocht, plus updated run-off areas and facilities.

RaceRoom new Zandvoort 2024

This is an all-new virtual version of the track, with the existing layout now listed as ‘Circuit Zandvoort 2019’ for $5.24 and the latest addition simply ‘Circuit Zandvoort’ at $7.24.

Handily, it also held a round of the DTM this season.

Updated Oschersleben

Another venue visited by the nation’s premier tin-top racing series is the narrow Oschersleben.

Unlike Zandvoort, this is not a ground-up recreation, but instead an update to the existing model with the latest laser-scan data. RaceRoom claims it has more accurate cambers, angles and surface details.

RaceRoom Oschersleben 2024

When we test this, alongside the DTM 2024 cars, back in August, we agree. It does.

For those who do not already own the track, it is available for a reduced price (57% off) of $3.14 for one week.
