Playground Games has revealed that a new multiplayer game mode is coming to Forza Horizon 5 on the 10th of September.
‘Hide & Seek’, as the name suggests, sees one player hiding from a team of five Seekers, with the Seekers aiming to stay close enough to fill their ‘Seeker’s Detection Meter’. Once filled, it’s round over.
Each game of Hide & Seek is split into two four-minute phases. In the first phase, the Hider must remain incognito, avoiding detection if possible by blending in with AI traffic. In the second phase, an End Zone will appear on the map, giving the Hider four minutes to reach it undetected to win the round.
Hiders and Seekers have extra abilities to help them, however. Seekers can use their Radar to point to a Hider’s approximate location and use the Ping function to highlight their exact location for 20s.
Hiders, on the other hand, can use the Chase BReaker ability to stop the Seekers in their tracks, also turning off their Radar and Ping abilities while being able to pass through destructible objects undamaged.
