During F1 Manager 2023’s recent official livestream, the game’s much-anticipated Race Replay mode was showcased, highlighting Starting Grid and Race Moment scenarios.
As previously stated, F1 Manager 2023 would feature these new modes from the outset, with 12 ‘Exclusive Scenarios’ available to players who purchased the Deluxe Edition of the game ahead of release.
Exclusive Scenarios are set to play similarly to Race Replay Starting Grid and Race Moment scenarios but with an added twist.
For example, one of the Exclusive Scenarios hinted at during the livestream concerns all the cars on the grid having equal performance. This should throw driver stats and race strategy sharply into focus, eliminating the biggest pace differentiator in F1 in one fell, swoop.
Another hinted at by F1 Manager 2023’s Community Manager Steve James concerns the replacement of Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz in favour of the team’s reserve driver (and recent 24 Hours of Le Mans winner) Antonio Giovinazzi. Your goal is to get the Italian onto the podium in a one-off appearance at his home race at Monza.
Other scenarios include the addition of rain to the Bahrain Grand Prix (which is surrounded by an extremely un-wet desert) and the prospect of mixed-up starting grids, adding a little more chaos to proceedings than what we’re used to from the previous F1 Manager game.
The Exclusive Scenarios can be accessed via the main game menu and is entirely separate from Race Replay mode. They will only be available to players who have purchased the Deluxe Edition of F1 Manager 2023.
Do you think the Exclusive Scenarios will spice up the action in F1 Manager 2023? What other outlandish scenarios would you add? Let us know in the comments below.
