A new week, and as we march towards the end of 2022, a fresh set of Gran Turismo 7 ranked daily online races for you to take part in.
As ever, Race A does not affect your Driver or Sportmansship ratings, but Races B and C do, with the latter being a longer affair.
Suzuka makes a return to the fold, alongside the Grand Prix Circuit at Brands Hatch and the Autódromo José Carlos Pace aka Interlagos.
RACE A
Suzuka is back, and just days after the world championship-deciding Japanese Grand Prix. The car in use apes a mid-1980s Formula 1 car too. Hopefully, there is less confusion with the race results in Gran Turismo 7…
The F1500T-A is a curious single-seater, with oddly-placed gear ratios. The ideal technique is to generally be in one gear higher through corners than you expect to be. Reducing the number of gearshifts is key, as they are lengthy and sap momentum.

Race B
Next up, Brands Hatch Grand Prix for the finale of the British Touring Car Championship for a short, sharp, Gr.3 race.
The cars akin to GT3-machinery seem even side and more powerful round the tight confines of the Kentish venue, so expect lots of elbows-out manoeuvres, despite the ranking system being switched on.
There isn’t an obvious choice for car selection either, due to the Balance of Performance seemingly perfected for this circuit. The BMW, Porsche, Aston Martin, Renault, Ford and Lexus all seem close. We’re going for the R.S.01 GT3 simply because it’s not often used.

Race C
No, it’s not the 24 Hours of Le Mans, but instead, the 14 laps of Interlagos. Using Gr.1 machinery usually seen pounding around the Circuit de la Sarthe, instead, a Porsche-filled field will take part in races lasting 25-minutes.
Entrants are required to use both Racing Soft and Racing Medium tyres at some point during the race, which will lead to several different strategies – namely which compound to start the race on.
The electrified punch of the 919 is hard to beat, despite the other allowed cars being of a similar vintage.

Lap Time Challenge
The current Lap Time Challenge also takes place at Suzuka in a classic single-seater, this time the McLaren MP4/4 ’88 driven by Ayrton Senna. A new Lap Time Challenge will begin on the 13th of October.
