Next Level Racing becomes official partner of Monday Night Racing series

Monday Night Racing – a social yet competitive iRacing league made up of mostly North American motorsports industry members, ranging from media to real-world drivers – has welcomed Next Level Racing as an official premier partner of the series.

Viewers and competitors of the popular virtual league will be supported by the Australian sim racing hardware accessory manufacturer for this year.

Monday Night Racing is presented by Interstate Batteries for Season 5. Last season, Monday Night Racing held its Championship Event live at the home of the Charlotte Phoenix at the Carolina Esports Hub.

With both Monday Night Racing and the Charlotte Phoenix partnered by the same brand, that could lead to even more future live events, as the Phoenix has recently been hosting their own LAN racing nights at the Hub with rigs provided by NLR.

The Monday Night Playoffs Round of 13 begins next week (18th July) with the Mazda MX-5 at Daytona Road. The second and final race of the round where three drivers will be eliminated takes place on 25th July with the iRacing NASCAR Xfinity cars at legacy Texas Motor Speedway circa 2009.

“We at Monday Night Racing are ecstatic to announce our partnership with Next Level Racing,” said Ford Martin, MNC owner.

“Working with a high-class and respected company such as NLR has our team even more excited about the future of MNR as we want to take the league to a global level.”

Next Level Racing will be giving away a P1 – GT Elite Cockpit, ERS1 and a Monitor Mount (essentially the full package) to this year’s crowned champion of Season 5.

Next Level Racing also recently announced its support of the Virtual Competition Organisation, an esports entity based in Germany. They’ve also got deals with Esports teams such as Team Fordzilla and a trio of eNASCAR teams, Jim Beaver Esports, Elliott Sadler Esports and the Charlotte Phoenix.

Our very own Justin Melillo, who had the pleasure of participating in the event last year as both a driver and media member, wrote about his experience in February, which he dubbed a “game changer” in the realm of live championship events.
