If you heard “5 Left into 4 right don’t cut, 30 into square left, caution, over crest keep middle”, is this total gibberish, or crucial information?

Screaming through the forest at the fastest speed possible requires split-second decision-making, and a whole lot of bravery, where one wrong move can send the car into an aggressive tree hug.

Teamwork is vital in rallying to prevent these accidents from happening. The co-drivers job is to feed information about the upcoming corners to the driver, which is condensed to minimal instructions and translated into an expected picture of the next turn.

Jumping into a rally game, such as WRC 10 or DiRT Rally 2.0, can be daunting for new players, but John Munro helps guide you through every instruction the Co-Driver throws out. Let us know in the comments below whether you have learnt anything new in this video, or if you knew it all beforehand.
