Indian Truck Simulator is a new trucking title from indie developer IronFort Studios. Slated for a 2027 release, it’s available to Wishlist on Steam now,

Using real National Capital Region map data, the game replicates the vast and intricate road network around India’s capital city, New Delhi. The game will apparently feature mechanics like driver fatigue, which increases in hotter temperatures and at night, with players obliged to stop at roadside cafes for food.

Following a similar path to SCS Software’s incredibly popular trucking games, ITS will task players with completing deliveries in a timely manner, with a vast array of cargo types available, including grain sacks, LPG canisters and wooden crates.

The game’s trucks (although only one has been shown so far) will feature working gauges and air brakes, with changeable weather and time conditions previewed in early screenshots. A handy GPS system will also help you plan your way around New Delhi’s maze-like streets. Thankfully, like the SCS truck sims, the longer highway sections will appear in abridged form.

The game’s info blurb also claims overloaded trucks will behave realistically, leaning from side to side and taking longer to stop, suggesting a capable physics system underpins it.

Early footage and images suggest there’s plenty of work to do to bring the graphics up to modern standards, however, and the roads appear universally smooth, which isn’t wholly accurate, so we have modest hopes for ITS at the moment.
