There was late trouble for Marcell Csincsik in the final race of the night, but TC Esports still sit 88 points above the cut line (before drop rounds) heading into the last two races of the Rennsport F1 Fall Season.
The night started at Daytona, where Caique Oliveira was able to replicate last week’s fantastic pole position at Laguna Seca, with another this week.
However, he’d spoken before the races about the likelihood of sluggish starts on the night, and that proved to be the case, as both Porsche Coanda drivers got past him on lap one.
From the start of lap two, the positions held in team order, with Porsche Coanda ahead of BS+ Competition and MOUZ. The presence of those three teams left Group B decidedly weaker, although it did still contain the table-topping TC Esports.
Marcell Csincsik, who is in great form, was able to take race two pole ahead of his teammate, and they led away from start to finish. The drama happened behind, as Nico Nunninghoff was having a rare bad race and was stuck back at the back.
