Asetek Racing is best known for its high-end racing peripherals, from the Invicta direct-drive wheel base and Forte Formula Steering Wheel, to the premium Pagani Huayra R Pedals.
Handbrake and gear shifter accessories aren’t currently part of the Danish brand’s ecosystem, but this is set to change soon.
Behind closed doors, the first handbrake and shifter add-ons were presented in prototype form at the SimRacing Expo Dortmund last year during invite-only appointments.
This year, however, visitors at the SimRacing Expo Charlotte can go hands-on with the new devices at the Asetek Racing stand, where the accessories will be showcased publicly for the first time before they go on sale.

Featuring aluminium and steel construction, the shifter can be switched from H-pattern to sequential and is easy to mount to Astek’s current cockpit.
Meanwhile, the handbrake will be a load cell-powered unit with the ability to adjust the preload mechanically.
