- Peugeot 9X8 will be part of paid-for Endurance Classics Part 1 DLC
- Release expected “early March”
Rennsport’s first DLC, the Endurance Classics Part 1 pack, is due for release soon, but it appears to include a rather incongruous interloper.
The DLC is slated to include the Porsche 911 GT1, Mercedes-Benz CLK LM and Group C Porsche 956 alongside the 24h Le Mans de la Sarthe circuit, but today it’s been revealed that the Peugeot 9X8 Hypercar will also be joining the paid-for content pack.
The 9X8, which was showcased in Rennsport earlier this week, first appeared in the FIA World Endurance Championship in 2022. However, it struggled for performance due to its controversial wingless body and switched to a more conventional aero package for the 2024 season. This is the version we will see in Rennsport.
Not only does its modernity make it an odd choice for inclusion in the Endurance Classics Part 1 DLC, but so does its lack of success: the car achieved only three podium finishes in the 2024-2025 seasons, with zero race wins.

Still, the team behind Rennsport plans to add further game fixes and free content in its forthcoming update, with the Hyundai Vision 74, two alternative track layouts for Road Atlanta and Fuji Speedway and the Kuala Lumpur Street Circuit all arriving gratis.
No pricing details are available for Endurance Classics Part 1, but an “early March” release window has been targeted for both the game update and the DLC, available across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC platforms.
