The battle-royal-but-in-karts title by Sumo Leamington begins its public feedback stage later this month ahead of Early Access release later in the year.

Registrations for the first round of playtests have been open since the game’s formal reveal in June, and the inaugural session will last for five days on PC between 27th-31st July 2023.

Stampede: Racing Royale is the first game by Sumo Digital’s Leamington studio and is an online battle royal-style knockout system kart racer.

Eight racing tracks and one battle area will be part of the initial feedback session, alongside 50 customisable items – more locations and options will be included in the final version.

The premise is to either race to the front of the pack, using powerups, to win a race, or reach the highest number of points in arena-based battles.

The sessions will be used testbed ahead of a PC (Steam) Early Access release later this year, which will be ahead of console versions.
