Walaber Entertainment has revealed its latest zany driving game, and this really wasn’t on our racing game bingo list for 2026…
4×4 in a Furniture Store tasks players with negotiating a variety of off-roading challenges while trapped in the confines of – you guessed it – a furniture shop.
If you’ve ever thought that traipsing through IKEA on a wet Saturday afternoon could be improved by gunning a Land Rover through ‘Kitchen & Appliances’, then this may very well be the game for you.
Walaber previously made Parking Garage Rally Circuit, which offered players an old-school, Sega Saturn-style arcade racing experience centred on multi-storey car parks, but its latest title features an even more off-the-wall concept.
4×4 in a Furniture Store is essentially a physics-based off-roading game where, instead of natural obstacles, like you’d see in BeamNG.drive’s rock crawling scenarios, players must traverse bookcases, sideboards and rocking chairs (with not a Daim bar in sight).

Although it has a cutesy aesthetic, the game appears to have a clever little physics engine, relying on careful planning and control mastery to complete a multitude of typically fun 4×4 challenges.
Your car’s transmission can be switched between high and low range depending on your torque requirements, and powered doors allow players to self-right when in a tight spot. However, I’m not sure what benefit the retractable boxing glove will provide…
Slated for a 2026 release, 4×4 in a Furniture Store is available to Wishlist on Steam now. No official announcement has been made regarding console ports yet.
