Psyonix, the developer of popular car football game Rocket League, has announced a commercial tie-in with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment to celebrate the upcoming release of the new Batman movie, The Batman.
This will bring the modern Batmobile to the game as part of The Batman Bundle. Also included in the pack is the Batmobile (2022) Engine Audio, Batmobile (2022) Wheels, Dark Knight Matte Paint Finish, Batmobile (2022) Boost, Batmobile (2022) Trail, a Reel Life Decal, and The Batman Goal Explosion.
Rocket League previously received other Batman DLC last October in the form of the 1989 and 2016 Batmobiles, plus the Tumbler from the Dark Knight movie.
Previously Rocket League has featured other movie franchises such as Fast & Furious and James Bond, so Batman content continues this filmic tradition.
Releasing on 4th March, The Batman is the latest reboot in the infamous superhero franchise, and this time stars British actor Robert Pattinson in the lead role. The Rocket League Batman Bundle will be available from the Rocket League Item Shop between 2nd-8th March for 1100 Credits, across PlayStation, Xbox, PC and Switch platforms.
For reference, it costs £3.75/$4.99 for 500 credits, £7.50/$9.99 for 1,100 credits, £18.75/$24.99 for 3,000 credits, or £37.50/$49.99 for 6,500 credits.
