WATCH: Supercars driver Andre Heimgartner's guide to Mount Panorama

Mount Panorama Circuit in Bathurst is a tricky sod. There are the fast straights into heavy braking zones, parts that remind you of a street circuit and extraordinarily steep inclines. Forget the car setup, just completing a tidy lap around the venerated Australian venue is a victory.

Thankfully though, Supercars driver Andre Heimgartner is here with a handy track guide on iRacing, driving his Ford Mustang.

He makes it look so easy but pause the video for each corner – especially across the top of the mountain – and pay close attention to his lines. Compared to other circuits they may seem a little unconventional, but that’s how it works around here. No part of Mount Panorama is ‘normal’.

Andre currently drivers for Kelly Grove Racing in both real-world and virtual series, including the next round of the Cash Converters Eseries Championship which features a two-driver Bathurst Enduro. He’s also made waves in the driver market by signing a deal with Brad Jones Racing for 2022.
