The last chance for the NGK SPARK PLUG Esports Cup to score points before the final, the RaceRoom-using competition heads to the Hungaroring, Tuesday 28th February 2023.
The fourth round of the NGK SPARK PLUG Esports Cup will be live on the Traxion.GG YouTube channel from 6 pm GMT, 7 pm CET / 10 am PT / 1 pm ET, with commentary from Connery Maddick.
Competitors qualified by taking on a hot-lap challenge last week, however, the entry list for the fifth-round finale later this month will be based on points scored across the first four events.
At the season-starting Spa-Francorchamps, Ilia Drovossekov dominated the first race, but in the second reverse-grid affair, it was Yuval Rosen who won. At MotorLand Aragón, Sinan Gunay and Maximilian Lorenz took a win apiece.
Last time out in Portugal, Mariusz Zabdyr and Nico Söhnel took the victories, making it six different winners from six different races. Ville Kreivi heads the standings so far.
The first race today will see 36 drivers from open-qualifying compete in a 10-minute qualifying session, followed by two 20-minute sprint races – the latter reversing the top 10 results of the former to set the grid.
Three GT3 cars will be used: Mercedes AMG GT3, Audi R8 or Porsche 911 GT3. They have been allocated via a raffle process, with the same number of each model used in the event.
All remaining rounds, including the final, will be live on the Traxion.GG YouTube Channel.
The top prize is two VIP tickets and accommodation to the ADAC TotalEnergies 24h Nürburgring, with Fanatec equipment and JBL headsets also up for grabs.
