The final round of the Le Mans Virtual Series before the 24 Hours of Le Mans Virtual in January is about to begin, with 500 miles around the punishing Sebring Raceway.
An all-star line-up has been assembled, with leading professional esports teams, championship-winning virtual drivers and real-world competitors.
In qualifying, it was the #8 R8G Esports entry driven by Marcell Csincsik who was second quickest, behind Marcell Csincsik for R8G Esports. However, due to a 10-place grid drop for defamatory behaviour, the #23 Porsche Coanda will start on pole position.
In the GTE class, a surprise performance by Christian Malghera put the #26 SIM Maranello Ferrari at the head of the field. BMW Team Redline and SF Velas Esports Team complete the top three positions.
Max Verstappen and Romain Grosjean both return to the series after they competed during the 6 Hours of Spa last month. Beitske Visser also enters this round in the GTE class.
Other notable real-world entries this weekend include Autosport Esports Driver of the Year nominee James Baldwin, Sami-Matti Trogen, Ayhancan Güven, Laurin Heinrich, Rudy van Buren, Marc Gassner, Dennis Lind, Lasse Sørensen and Alexander Smolyar.
The race starts at 2 pm CET, following a 30-minute pre-show, and it’s live on the Traxion.GG YouTube channel. Respect the bumps.
