We test EA Sports F1 23, but without the commentary. See the cockpit camera, TV camera and virtual reality and judge for yourself.

WATCH pure, unfiltered, gameplay from a work-in-progress build of EA SPORTS F1 23. Let us know in the comments below what you think so far, and we’ll be back closer to launch with a full review.

For now, watch from the cockpit camera inside Lance Stroll’s Aston Martin around the Canadian venue. Note the new design for the steering wheel display and how we were able to ‘catch’ a slide with greater ease when compared to F1 22.

Then, it’s onto Silverstone from the TV/Halo-camera angle and a three-lap race with McLaren’s Lando Norris. Keep your eyes peeled for new kerbs at this location. Also, the AI-controlled vehicle’s ability to be more aware if you send it down their inside.

Finally, using an Oculus Rift S, some virtual reality (VR) gameplay, sadly a feature only on PCs this time around. This is around Interlagos in a Mercedes-AMG, once again in a race scenario.

All footage was captured on PC: Intel I9 10900X, RTX 3090, 128GB Ram, 2TB Nvme SSD
