Over 37 kilometres of winding, bumpy, brittle asphalt that would be a stern test under normal driving conditions, but racing across it atop a powerful superbike? You’d have to be mad!
Except, every year, that’s exactly what many competitors do, taking part in the Isle of Man TT races. It’s probably the most dangerous motorsport event on earth.
Usually, the event would be held during this very weekend, but sadly due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the event is cancelled for this year. Here’s hoping for 2022.
In its place though, I thought I would provide you with some TT action still. As a complete rookie to the game, TT Isle of Man – Ride on the Edge 2, I decided to see if I could make it around a full lap without crashing.
Mild spoiler, I couldn’t.
So, then it turned into a case of how few times I crashed. Have a guess and then watch the video to see how close you are.
