Sim racing steering wheel manufacturer VPG Sim has announced an exciting partnership with F1 supplier bf1systems to build and sell high-end sim hardware with a real-world motorsport twist.

VPG Sim, a British manufacturer of high-end simulator steering wheels, has just announced a collaboration with bf1systems, a renowned supplier of turn-key steering wheel solutions to Formula 1 teams.

With over 30 years of motorsport engineering experience, Norfolk-based bf1 has supplied customers racing in GT3, GT4 and GTE categories, including prestigious manufacturers such as Porsche, Ferrari and Aston Martin.

VPG Sim is a small operation specialising in carbon fibre and 6061 CNC’d aluminium sim steering wheels, ensuring perfect weight distribution and low inertia performance from its products. It currently sells three high-quality wheels, with various customisable finishes, paddle shifters and quick-release systems.

The early fruits of this collaboration will be shown at this year’s ADAC SimRacing Expo, which we will cover in more detail later this week. However, if blurring the line between sim racing and motorsport technology interests you, you won’t want to miss what VPG and bf1 are cooking up.
