Following the conclusion to the 2022-23 Esports Racing League season, VCO Esports has invited the Top 12 teams from the season to the final competition of the series, the Esports Racing World Cup II.
From the 24th to the 26th of February, 12 invited teams of five drivers will compete over three different simulation platforms, a different one on each day, with a share of $50,000 and five unique ERWC II champions’ belts up for grabs to the winners through the competition.
Friday’s simulation of choice to kick things off will be Assetto Corsa Competizione. On Saturday, teams will compete using rFactor 2. Sunday, the third and final day of the competition, will take place on the iRacing platform.
The broadcast will be brought to viewers live from the Simply Race motorsport simulation centre in Milton Keynes in the United Kingdom, with Lewis McGlade and Luke Crane reporting on-site. Arjuna Kankipati will also join the broadcast remotely.
As for the 12 qualified teams, they will include:
- Apex Racing Team
- Arnage Competition
- Burst Esport
- BS+COMPETITION
- R8G Esports
- Team Fordzilla
- Team Redline
- TRITON Racing
- Unicorns of Love
- Veloce Esports
- Williams Esports
- YAS HEAT
Each team will get to add five drivers to their roster and each day of the competition will have three of those drivers competing in the specified simulation’s events. The format includes a double-elimination tournament system.
