Finnish sim racing hardware manufacturer Simucube has unveiled its new flagship steering wheel, the Valo Evo.

Designed to usurp the firm’s incumbent Valo GT-23, the Valo Evo features the same premium switches, paddles and electronics as its predecessor, with the technology encased in a wildly different leather-clad bullhorn design.

The 315 mm wheel connects to Simucube wheelbases via the Simucube Link Hub, and features two shifters, two clutch paddles, two thumb rotary encoders, ten buttons, two front rotary knobs, two seven-way joysticks and 18 programmable RGB LEDs. Plenty to keep your average sim racer going, then.

Simucube is often seen as a destination brand in sim racing, and the build quality and ergonomics of the Valo Evo will most likely reflect this, featuring as it does a CNC-machined aluminium construction and reachable buttons.

Simucube Valo Evo price and release date

The Simucube Valo Evo is available to purchase from Simucube’s EU store currently, with a full roll-out to other stores expected shortly. The Simucube Valo Evo retails for € 1026,59 (includes Simucube Link).
