Unimog added to Farming Simulator 25 as part of new Mercedes-Benz DLC

Farming Simulator 25 developer and publisher GIANTS Software has unveiled a partnership with Daimler Truck AG, which sees a selection of the firm’s Mercedes-Benz vehicles added to PC, Mac, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of the game.

Available now for 12.99€, or included as part of the Year 1 Season Pass, the Mercedes-Benz Trucks Pack contains 17 machines in total, including the Actros L and the MB-trac, as well as two versions of the Unimog, which are sure to be a fan favourite.

“Virtual farmers have been dreaming about the Unimog and MB-trac for some time, and we’re thrilled to finally hand them these powerful stars to work the soil,” stated Thomas Frey, Vice President of Business Development at GIANTS Software.

Other brands are also represented in the new DLC, with Heizomat’s Mercedes-Benz Arocs-based Heizotruck V2 making the cut alongside Meiller, Sirch, Alliance, Fliegl and Stoll, all boasting additional FM 25 machinery. The full list of included items can be found below.

As a bonus, the Actros truck now mimics its real-world counterpart by featuring internal digital mirrors, so there’s no excuse if you reverse into a hay bale.

Although not a sim racing title, we’ll be seeing more from Farm Simulator 25’s graphics engine in the near future, as upcoming racing sim Project Motor Racing will also be powered by GIANTS’ proprietary visual platform.

We don’t expect to be ploughing many fields in a Lister Storm, however…
