- RaceRoom to host in-person 10-driver competition race at the SimRacing Expo
- €5,000 prize pool, in collaboration with sim-to-race driver Tim Heinemann
- Online qualifiers for five spots start soon, the second five will be from in-person Expo qualifying
Premium sim racing equipment, model cars, passenger laps and even a track driving experience are up for grabs in a new RaceRoom competition.
Five people can qualify at home using the sim, and five more people can qualify at the SimRacing Expo event in Dortmund, with the final 10 taking part in a race at the event on Sunday, 19th October.
The competition is in partnership with current GT World Challenge Europe and NLS competitor Tim Heinemann, who has also won the DTM Trophy championship and claimed two DTM outright podiums.

The remote qualifying competition is a time attack on RaceRoom, trying to match or best a lap time set by Heinemann. This is around the Nürburgring Grand Prix (fast chicane layout), naturally in Tim’s Porsche 911 GT3.
The leaderboard will open 29th September and close 13th October 2025, with the top five qualifying for the in-person race at the SimRacing Expo. Then, during the Friday and Saturday of the Dortmund event, a further five drivers can qualify based on lap times, with an in-person time trial running.
10 prizes are up for grabs, totalling a prize pool worth €5,000. The rewards, however, won’t be allocated based on position, however. Instead, the winner gets first pick, the second, third and so forth.
The full prize pool is listed below.
RaceRoom’s “big” SimRacing Expo booth
Speaking of Mr Heinemann, his real-world 911 race car will be on the RaceRoom stand at the SimRacing Expo, alongside Kevin Rohrscheidt’s McLaren Artura Trophy EVO used in the one-make motorsport championship.
RaceRoom is under the KW umbrella corporation, alongside sim racing equipment manufacturers Ascher Racing (wheels) and TrackTime (cockpits). All three will share a booth at the Dortmund event.
Both Heinemann and Rohrscheidt will be present at the show on the stand.
“RaceRoom will be at the SimRacing Expo, together with Ascher and TrackTime, we have a big booth,” said RaceRoom’s Director of Strategy and Sales, Christian Baur.
“In our own area, we will have 10 simulators.”
The SimRacing Expo is in Dortmund, Germany, between 17th-19th October 2025.
