Thrustmaster releases load cell brake upgrade for Raceline pedals

Thrustmaster’s Raceline III or LTE pedals can now be upgraded with a load cell brake.

Thrustmaster Raceline Load Cell upgrade

Thrustmaster’s Raceline pedal set can now be fitted with a load-cell brake thanks to a newly released upgrade kit.

Compatible with the Raceline III or Raceline LTE pedal set, the kit includes a load cell sensor brake pedal. Unlike the Raceline’s standard travel-based pedal, the load cell sensor measures the pressure applied up to 100 kg / 220 lb, providing more precise and effective braking.

As well as a load sensor, the Raceline LC Upgrade kit includes an additional spring and elastomer buffer, a metal plate for each pedal and anthracite grey metal pedal heads for the clutch and accelerator.

Using the included springs and elastomer buffer lets you adjust the maximum brake force from 25-100 kg / 55-220 lb, with four configurations. A preload dial also lets you fine-tune the force in increments of 11 lb / 5 kg.

Further adjustments can be made in the My Thrustmaster Panel software or the T598 wheel’s Race Dash screen, including the pedal’s travel, dead zone and response curves.

Available to order on Thrustmaster’s website, the Raceline LC Upgrade kit costs €139.99 and is compatible with all Thrustmaster force feedback wheel bases on PC.

On consoles, it works with all Thrustmaster force feedback wheel bases except the T500, thanks to the RJ45 cable and RJ12 converter.
