The Crew Motorfest now on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate

Over two years after its release, The Crew Motorfest is playable for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers at no extra cost from today, 20th November.

Ubisoft’s open-world racer launched in September 2023 and is set around a rousing racing festival, called the Motorfest, in Hawaii. It’s often compared to Forza Horizon 5, which, incidentally, is also on Game Pass.

Since its launch, The Crew Motorfest has proven to be a formidable rival, with its curated playlists, an expansive car roster of over 700 vehicles, and frequent live service updates, including a map expansion set in Maui last year.

How The Crew Motorfest is securing new cars first

The Crew Motorfest joins Game Pass alongside the start of its third year of free updates, with Season 8 bringing new customisation options, including branded wheel rims, along with an underground street racing playlist. A BMW-themed playlist is set to follow in January 2026, marking the video game debut of the new BMW M2 CS.

Beyond that, Season 9 is set to add miniature remote-control cars, NASCAR racing, a stunt-filled playground island and an ambitious track creator tool in March 2026.

Impressively, The Crew franchise recently surpassed 50 million-players. With the latest entry now on Game Pass, that number is likely to keep soaring.

Following a recent controversial price increase, a top Xbox Game Pass Ultimate tier subscription costs £22.99 / $29.99 per month and provides access to new games from Microsoft-owned studios on day one. A  PC Game Pass subscription is included with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, or is available as a standalone subscription for £13.49 / $16.49 per month.
