Another free playlist has been added to The Crew Motorfest – Off-Roading Addict Volume 2.
A playlist in Ubisoft parlance is a set of challenges, tied together with optional side missions, an unlockable car for competition and a series of cut scenes. Each main event is also themed.
Following the Donk vs Lowrider addition in July, next it is the turn of the off-road content to receive a new compendium.
Expected it to make use of the burly, large-tyred, vehicles, such as Land Rovers and Dakar-conquering Peugeots. Scaling mountains and volcanic areas is a given.
Similar to how the drift playlist featured a second volume, there are nine further events, six feats and six photo opportunities. Completing the main events obtains a specially modified Jeep Wrangler and unlocks a range of optional challenges.
Alongside the playlist, the network-connected Main Stage has a series of additional quests to earn rewards, entitled The OffRoader. This runs between 14th-21st August, while the Vol. 2 playlist is permanent single-player content.
The fresh content is available for Motorfest players on PC, PlayStation and Xbox for free as of today, 14th August 2024. It follows the recent addition of the BMW M3 E30 and Toyota 2000GT (above) as the final two cars arriving with the Year 1 Pass.
