Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown teases Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo, mid-season update out today

Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown’s Season 4 update launched in July, bringing with it the long-awaited return of the casino from Test Drive Unlimited 2. When it launched, the casino was limited to one playable slot machine.

Out today (10^th September), a mid-season update is set to expand the casino by adding a second playable slot machine, Golden Dragon, allowing players to win payouts of up to one million Casino Chips. These Chips can also now be cashed in at a rate of one Casino Chip for two Solar Coins.

Additionally, Season 4’s mid-season update improves the engine sound effects for the Apollo IE and Lamborghini Diablo VT, increasing the pops and crackles and improving the backfire. It also brings various bug fixes.

Originally planned for the mid-season update, the multiplayer poker game is set to arrive in Season 5 in October alongside graphical updates and new taxi missions.

Nacon has also teased a new car for Season 5. Judging from the prominent front splitter and side gills, it appears to be an Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo. If so, this will mark the first GT3 car in Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown’s vehicle roster, which primarily focuses on road cars.

Season 4’s reward car was the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series, a jackpot prize at the casino. However, due to gambling restrictions, the casino is banned in over 60 countries. Consequently, this means not all players can access the Black Series. Nacon is currently looking to find a solution to make the Black Series accessible to players in restricted countries.
