Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown gameplay set for 12th July unveil

A Nacon Connect stream is set to reveal more details on upcoming open-world driving game Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, as its release date could slip to early 2024.

Open-world driving game Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown is set to be featured in an upcoming Nacon Connect stream, it has been revealed. 

The open-world racing title, whose release date could slip to 2024 according to Nacon’s latest financial reports (page 80 shows the French company’s projected release schedule), has endured a lengthly development period with significant delays, with developer KT Racing even cancelling development for the previous generation of consoles.

The 30-minute Nacon Connect event – hosted by Alain Jarniou, Creative Director at KT Racing – will introduce us to the fictional host of the in-game Solar Club – Vivian Hughes – with many fans hopeful of seeing in-game footage for the first time (although actual video footage has not been confirmed at the time of publication, simply “images”).  

Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown is set to follow in the footsteps of Forza Horizon and The Crew Motorfest with its open-world approach to driving. Set in Hong Kong, where winning races and tuning cars to move up the rankings in the mysterious Solar Crown competition. The game is slated for release on PC, PlayStation 5, PC, Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X|S

The Nacon Connect Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown stream is set to take place on Wednesday the 12th of July 2023 at 19:00 CEST / 18:00 BST.

Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown’s publishers have reached out and confirmed that gameplay footage will be showcased at the event on 12th July.
